DeMolay Regions in Washington State
By authority of the Executive Officer, he has divided the State of Washington into six geographical areas to better provided services to the Chapters at a local level. The Region is governed by a Region Master Councilor (youth leader) and a Region Deputy (Adult Advisor).
The Region Master Councilor is the leader of his Region and works directly with the Chapter Master Councilors in that Region. He must at all times exemplify the teachings of our Order. He is to be available to the Chapters for help and advice on event planning, budgeting, calendar coordination, membership recruitment, retention and all things DeMolay. He is to work constantly on building the bonds of brotherhood between the Chapters in his Region. He is to be committed to the tasks assigned to him by the State Master Councilor and be diligent in their completion. He is to communicate often with the Master Councilors, distribute and promote information from the State Corps about State Events and Programs and report back to the on the happenings, successes and challenges of his Chapters.
The Region Deputy is appointed annually by the Executive Officer and is to serve as a liaison between the Executive Officer and the Chapters in their Region. They are the Dad Advisor to the Region Master Councilor and assists him with scheduling and planning the quarterly Region Meetings, the Region Conclave and Region Big Event. They are to attend the Advisory Council meetings at least once per quarter, the Installation of Officers, and Official Visits of the Chapters within his Region. And finally to follow and adhere to the Region By-Laws.
